Experience "Movement as Medicine, Feel the Power of Tai Chi"

Chris Netto, a certified Tai Chi for Health instructor with 12 years of
teaching experience using Dr. Paul Lam’s programming.

NEW Monday at 12:15pm and Wednesday at 10:30am
Featuring
Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention(TCA) programming developed
by Dr. Paul Lam.

Recognized by CDC and Administration on Aging as one of the
best evidenced based programs for health promotion
and disease prevention.

It is a safe, and effective form of exercise for people of all ages with or without arthritis or other health conditions. In these classes you will learn; a modified Sun style Tai Chi for Arthritis routine along with mindful breathing, Dr. Paul Lam’s warm up routine, tips on balance and much more. Opportunities are provided to do the exercises seated, as well as, standing.

No experience necessary.

CLASSES IN TCA BEGIN THE WEEK OF JANUARY 8TH 2018
12:15PM ON MONDAY AND 10:30AM ON WEDNESDAY

MORE ONGOING CLASSES AT THE CENTER CONTINUING IN 2018:

Monday at 11am Explore the fundamentals of Tai Chi/Qigong while learning the foundational movements of 24 Yang Style form. A class for advanced beginners with some experience in Tai Chi principles and exercise.

Wednesday at 9:15am Explore the basic practice of Tai Chi for Diabetes(TCD) also developed by Dr. Paul Lam and is one of his Tai Chi for Health series. This set include yang style movements. This class also features 18 Posture Tai Chi Qigong (Shibashi Tai Chi Qigong), a program developed by Professor Lin Hou-Sheng in 1979. Professor Lin is a renowned Qigong Master, scientist and Master Healer. His remarkable credentials include Professor of the College of Chinese Medicine in Shanghai, Director of Qigong Research Institute in China and Honorary President of the International Society of Natural Cures. Good entry level class for beginners with little to no experience in tai chi principles or exercise.

Whichever class you choose, enjoy the many health, wellness and balance benefits associated with the practice of Tai Chi, a soft internal form of Qigong, an ancient Chinese health care system, that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention making it unique from traditional exercise programs, in a gentle, relaxed and friendly environment.
